Life of Left-behind Children Improves with Care of Guardians
Life of some 411,487 rural left-behind children from southwest China's is expected be improved greatly after local officials signed an agreement with the children's guardians.
The agreement stipulates that the should take good care of the disadvantaged group.
Yunnan has been rolling out multiple policies to ensure that children lead a healthy life since 2016, including defining the responsibilities of relevant departments and establishing a database for rural left-behind children.
In view of the great significance of family wardship, the People's Government of Yunnan Province also requested that parents should take their children along with them when working in big cities or entrust their children to faithful relatives.
The parents must also register the address of their workplace, their contact information and details about their trustee at their neighborhood committee.
